Second, do not just look at the price, but from the quality, cycle time, service all-round consideration.
1、There are many kinds of moulds, which can be roughly divided into ten categories. According to the different requirements of parts material, physical and chemical properties, mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, service life, economy, etc., choose different types of mold forming.
2, high precision requirements of the mold need to use high-precision CNC machine tool processing, and mold material, forming process have strict requirements, but also need to use CAD / CAE / CAM mold technology to design, analysis.
3, some parts have special requirements due to molding, the mold also need to use hot runner, gas-assisted molding, nitrogen cylinder and other advanced technology.
4、The manufacturer should have CNC, EDM, wire-cutting machine tools and CNC copy milling equipment, high-precision grinding machines, high-precision three-coordinate measuring instruments, computer design and related software, etc.
5、Generally, large stamping dies (such as automobile cover dies) should consider whether the machine tool has crimping mechanism, even edge lubricant, multi-station progression, etc. In addition to the stamping tonnage, the punching times, feeding device, machine tool and die protection device should be considered.
6. Not every enterprise has and master the above mould manufacturing means and technology. When choosing a collaborative manufacturer, we must understand its processing capability, not only by hardware equipment, but also by management level, processing experience and technical strength.
7、For the same set of moulds, there is sometimes a big gap between different manufacturers' quotations. You should not pay more than the cost of the mold value at the same time, should not be less than the cost of the mold. Mold manufacturers like you have to make a reasonable profit in business. Ordering a set of molds with a much lower quote can be the beginning of trouble. Users must start from their own requirements and measure comprehensively.
Third, to avoid multi-head collaboration, as far as possible plastic mold making and product processing in one package.
1, with a qualified mold (test parts qualified), not necessarily produce a batch of qualified products. This is mainly with the parts of the processing machine selection, forming technology (forming temperature, forming time, etc.) and the technical quality of the operator has a relationship.
2, with a good mold, but also a good forming process, preferably a one-stop collaboration, try to avoid multi-head collaboration. If the conditions are not available, we must choose one party to be fully responsible, and we must write clearly when we make the contract.
